BRAZIL is a birthplace of great musicians, every year great albums are released and we start the year 2023 with brutal death grindcore. Duo DESPISED emerged during the Covid-19 quarantine, with guitarist and producer Alex Roque (Disorder Of Rage, Blood Trail, Oligarquia) composing the 12 songs that will be on the Debut Album "Scorched Earth" and inviting Rodolfo Carrega (Clawn, ex- 3rd War Collapse) for vocals.
The idea is to be an extreme project with a heavy, raw and direct sound, with influences from Terrorizer, Napalm Death, Lock Up, Repulsion, Born to Murder the World, Defecation, Nasum and other big names in the style. "Scorched Earth" will bring an underground and brutal sound with heavy lyrics about the world's reality. band at its best ,The process was done little by little in the DIY scheme in the guitarist and founder's own studio, seeking an underground sound without losing quality and weight. 12 songs of the purest Death Metal/GrindcoreARTWORK AND DESIGN The development of the arts was done in a simple and direct way, influenced by Death/Grind bands from the 80s.
